Super berry smoothie

Ingredients
250ml organic milk (rice, soy, almond or cow)
1 medium banana roughly chopped
1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup blackberries
1 Tbsp ground almonds
1 Tbsp ground hazelnuts
1 Tbsp ground walnuts (can substitute pecans)
1 Tspn honey (or maple syrup)
1/2 Tspn oat bran (for extra fibre)

1. Place all ingredients into a blender.

2. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

3. Serve immediately.

This is an excellent breakfast idea for people in a hurry. It's also very nutritious with lots of calcium, fibre and protein as well as being high in many vitamins and antioxidants. If you don't use cow's milk, make sure your non-dairy milk of choice has added calcium.

This can also be served as a mid-afternoon snack.
