Just wondering if Tryptophan can still be purchased in Australia?

The short answer is yes, but with a special proviso.
“Over the counter” tryptophan cannot be purchased without a prescription from your general practitioner (GP) and which can be obtained by your naturopath, it seems in Queensland only.
Tryptophan is the precursor to 5-Hydroxy-Tryptophan (5-HTP) after which it is converted into the neurotransmitter serotonin.
